  1. INSERT  -  insert a file in the outgoing message
  2.  
  3. Usage:  INSERT filename
  4.  
  5. The INSERT command inserts a file after the text of the message.  The DISPLAY
  6.   command will then show the entire message with the inserted text.
  7.  
  8. You can do the same thing while you are still typing in your text.
  9.   In MM's text mode, type control-b, and then at the prompt "Filename?",
  10.   type the name of the file.  In emacs, type "ESC-x insert-file" and
  11.   the filename.  An advantage of these two methods is that it is simple
  12.   then to type more text after the inserted file, if you want to.

  14. Example:
  15.     Send>insert chapter1    #inserts your file "chapter1" following
  16.                 #your message.
